Meet Virginia! She’s a senior at James River High School and is such a breath of fresh air. She’s also a member of my 2017 Senior Squad. This girl is the hardest worker I have ever met. In fact she works harder than most adults I know! Trying to schedule her was hard, not because of her social calendar, but because of the multiple jobs she works. She’s a nanny, a lifeguard, and works at Sugar Shack too. Such a go-getter!
Virginia also has an amazing sense of direction. No need for gps if she’s in the car with you! She helped me get all around downtown Richmond for her Senior Experience Session. I wish I had just half of her directional abilities. What we do share in common is our love for good food. We talked good food and amazing RVA restaurants. She gave me a list of places I had to try. After her session Virginia took me over to Perly’s and we shared several dishes and talked the evening away.
For Virginia’s session we started at Libby Hill Park, headed over to Canal Walk (which she was the most excited about), then finished in The Bottom at my favorite little parking garage. Parking garage you say? Yes a parking garage! The light there is amazing right before sunset and it may be my favorite place to shoot!
