Stafford Senior Pictures – September Session
Meet Marley!!! Isn’t she just the cutest??!! Marley was one of my 2017 senior girls. She graduated from Brooke Point High School and opted to have her Stafford senior pictures in September. September can be a great month because it’s still warm enough for summer clothes but cools down in the evenings and you can get away with wearing sweaters.
Marley’s whole session was shot in Fredericksburg. We started in Old Town, wandered around through outfit changes, then ended at the river. Marley did a great job with her outfit choices and had a lot of variety. Here are a few of my favorite images from her session. The image of her with the hat close up might be my favorite image from all of last year!!
Each month has it’s pros and cons for portraits. I’m asked quite often what the best month for senior portraits is. The answer to that isn’t a simple one. There are so many factors in choosing the perfect month for your senior portraits!! What is your sense of style? Do you love summer dresses, rompers, and shorts? Do you love sweaters and jackets? Do you love greenery or do you prefer fall foliage? Does spring and all the flowers excite you? We can make beautiful portraits in any season and in any month. Yes even in January or February!!
